The Tour of Hermann Gravel Challenge is back for 2024. Continue to check this site for any updates as we close in on race day.

The eleventh annual Tour of Hermann Gravel Challenge is a gravel ride where participants can tackle as many as five challenging scenic loops on the roads surrounding picturesque Hermann, Mo. This event is for any experience level, including beginners. Riders can take on as little as one loop or as many as all five. It is completely up to you!

Day One features three different loops with a total of 102.36 miles in distance and 6883 feet of climbing.

Day Two features two different loops with a total of 99.14 miles in distance and 4902 feet of climbing.

If you complete all five loops in the allotted time, you will have tackled over 11.7k feet of climbing over 200+ miles of riding, and you will be entered into the Tour of Hermann Gravel Challenge Elite Club.

*Shirts and sizing are not guaranteed for registrations after April 1st.

What makes the TOH Gravel Challenge unique?
Two main reasons:

1.) The absolutely stunning views of Missouri’s wine country and the Missouri river will keep you smiling through even the toughest moments of climbing and descending the gravel roads on your bike.

2.) Perhaps even more unique is the two-day structure. Riders choose however many loops they want to complete each day. A beginner may only want to tackle the first loop on Saturday. Another rider may decide to tackle Loop One on Saturday and the first loop offered on Sunday (Loop Four). An expert may choose to try for all five loops. As long as you tackle the loops in order on the day they are offered, you can custom tailor this event to a unique challenge for yourself.

For this reason, the Tour of Hermann is a perfect precursor to Unbound, formally Dirty Kanza.

Who can participate in the TOH Gravel Challenge?

You must be able to be self-supported (mechanically, water, and nutritionally) with a working bike and a helmet. Racers under 18 must have a parent with them to sign the race liability waiver. Keep that in mind and register as quickly as you can to ensure a spot on this year’s roster.
